There is naught that you can do, other than to resist, with hope or no.

M: Not to pry, but is there a specific reason you joined the Alliance?
K: Let's just say that my closet door is open, but no one's pushed me out of it yet.
M: Do you like it in there?
K: It's actually quite well furnished.

It's the illusion of progress. Staying awake isn't progress.

The young have aspirations that never come to pass, the old have
reminiscences of what never happened.

An ion walks into a bar and says "I think I left an electron here last night", and the bartender says "Are you positive?"

If it weren't for electricity we'd all be watching television by candlelight.
- George Gobel

The legend of mercy stabbing your companion dying beside you in the vide of the desert—it's touching
—Christopher Ryan

The center is missing, the original is gone, all that I try to form around it may not resemble the original much.

It was when he reached a trembling hand out to touch me that I started laughing. Leg broke and elbow busted, half torn to shreds, I bawled out cackling.

It is in my interest for you to be wrong about me. The less you understand, the more attention you will pay.
—Ben Marcus

Restraining myself is not dishonest. It's a way of maintaining a keen sense of the unforeseeable injuries which shall reunite us.

Sanity is but a small price to pay for freedom

Bomb the World
I don't understand the whole reason why
You tellin' us all that we need to unify
Rally round the flag
And beat the drums of war
Sing the same old songs
Ya know we heard 'em all before
You tellin' me it's unpatriotic
But i call it what i see it
When i see it's idiotic
The tears of one mother
Are the same as any other
Drop food on the kids
While you're murderin' their fathers
But don't bother to show it on cnn
Brothers and sisters don't believe them
It's not a war against evil
It's really just revenge
Engaged on the poorest by the same rich men
Fight terrorists wherever they be found
But why you not bombing tim mcveigh's hometown
You can say what you want propaganda television
But all bombing is terrorism

We can chase down all our enemies
Bring them to their knees
We can bomb the world to pieces
But we can't bomb it into peace
Whoa we may even find a solution
To hunger and disease
We can bomb the world to pieces
But we can't bomb it into peace

Fire in the skies
Many people died
And no one even really knows why
They tellin' lies of division and fear
We yelled and cried
No one listened for years
But like, "who put us here?"
And who's responsible?
Well, there's no debatin'
Cause if they ask me i say
It's big corporations
World trade organization
Tri-lateral action
International sanctions, satan
Seems like it'll be an endless price tag
Of wars tremendous
And most disturbingly
The death toll is so horrendous
So i send this to those
Who say they defend us
Send us into harm's way
We should all make a rememberence that
This is bigger than terrorism
Blood is blood is blood and um
Love is true vision
Who will listen?
How many songs it takes for you to see
You can bomb the world to pieces
You can't bomb it into peace

A song by Michael Franti

He Died Of Natural Causes, Because Naturaly One Dies When Being Stabbed In The Heart.

You can bomb the world to pieces, but you can't bomb the world to peace.

I'm not oblivious to the joys of natural living. My relationship with soap has been bumpy at times, as you well know.

The butterflies in my stomach are having a hopped-up, coke snorting rave.

"But I need a place where I can shout and weep. I have to be a Spanish savage at some time of the day. I record here the hysteria life causes in me. The overflow of an undisciplined extravagance. To hell with taste and art, with all contractions and polishings. Here I shout, I dance, I weep, I gnash my teeth, I go mad -- all by myself, in bad English, in chaos. It will keep me sane for the world and for art." - Anais Nin

All truth goes through three stages: First it is ridiculed; second it is violently opposed; and third, it is accepted as self-evident.

How many things we held yesterday as articles of faith which today we tell as fables.

Once upon a time, the tale goes, a man was sentenced to death by the king.

"Wait!" he cried. "If you delay my sentence by six months, I'll teach your horse to talk."

The king agreed.

Later that day the man's wife asked him, "Why would you make such an offer? You can't possibly teach a horse how to talk."

"Well," he answered, "I figure a lot can happen in six months. There could be a revolution and a new king. Or the king could get sick and die. Or the king could change his mind. Or the horse could die. Or I could die. Or maybe the horse will talk."

Apparently from The Truth Machine by James L. Haperlin

Live and learn, I guess....I just wish I could learn a little faster and live a little slower.

We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time.

I like pigs. Dogs look up to us. Cats look down on us. Pigs treat us as equals.

Trying to forget someone you loved
is like trying to remember someone you never knew.

Dreaming is still how the strong survive.

Happiness comes through doors you didn't know you left open.

tears well to my eyes the moment i start to create this message to you. You have only been away for 2 nights and already my soul feels more empty without your presence around it. I don't know what to do either derek, or where to go. I think that life is spinning like this for a reason but i could really care less. You and I are brothers and I wish that we would have never ever seperated. I am prepared to take on the challenges of this hellish reality to reinsert you within my life and build a family with you to begin that which has already started. Go to the church of unity in every town you find, those people are like us, we are one mind. I am never not near you even when you know my presence is not, you can always speak to me within your mind. I do not know where your Yin lies but I am forever eternally greatful for you bringing me to mine. I saw so much pain in the eyes of those females that came with us on our journey and I wonder as you did if it would have been better to just keep walking.

To question is to doubt which really doesn't serve as far as regret, things happen for a reason and we gained much from the experience. I am probably going to return home to grab up supplies and such before I break away again from this place to another set of boxes. The only difference around the US is the climate so I feel the urge to establish a community in that land of SC then do what you were thinking and cruise to see the culture of the world around us. If things work out we will all be living high on the so called hog in greece as silent prophets in our massive underground hive commune spending all our days projecting and learning about our future.. Manifest the ability to plane shift, all things are possible, if these boxes are all the same, maybe we should travel to where the boxes are circles instead.

I missed you so much
So good to see you
You had alot to say
and you sure could yell

Focus your attention as you will, remember polygamy and that we will be together again

you are the final part to a circut of the Zodiac

Jessica = leo = fire
Mike = libra = air
patrick = scorpio = water
Derek = Virgo = earth

One soul within all elements, perfect balance for complete power to will anything one could and will wish to experience. don't you lose hope you fucking bastard.

The difference between genius and stupidity
is that genius has its limits.

You are not a beautiful and unique snowflake, you are the same decaying organic matter as everything else. We are all a part of the same compost heap. We are the all singing, all dancing crap heap of the world.

That is not dead, which can eternal lie, but with strange eons, even death may die.

I peer in to the dark starry sky and dream of a place where its only you and I...

Don't count days, make days count.

I hope life isn't one big joke, 'cause I don't get it.

There is nobody so irratating as somebody with less intelligence and more sense than we have.

A breakup is like a mirror; it's better to leave it than to hurt yourself putting it back together.

When I reached the street I didn't know whether to go right or left. Soon I'd have To start acting like a person who cared about what happened to him.

I went to college with this girl named Denise. Before graduation, we seniors were either ashamed to show our faces in public because of unemployment, or were bragging about the fabulous new jobs we had landed. I was the little prick who wanted to show everyone up, saying things like, "oh, yeah. I'm going to be a producer for Entertainment Tonight." (i.e. I am so much better than you that you should not even be speaking to me right now.) Some of my snotty girlfriends rattled on about the bitchy, Prada and Jimmy Choo-infested P.R. firms they'd be whoring for. A couple of my other friends boasted about their entrance into the music industry, etc.

But not Denise. Denise is (was?) a very smart girl, has a charming personality, and is not lazy nor retarded. However, she found a job working at the AMC Empire movie theatre on 42nd street, where she would be making popcorn all day. She was exhilerated. She had just completed her bachelors degree and was insanely thrilled to work at the AMC Empire. Hearing her excitement over this was freakishly entertaining and disturbing, all at the same time. a ghetto voice that wasn't her usual method of speaking, she told all of our professors about her lucrative new career in the "film industry" - Professsaaaaaaaaaaah! I got me a job! I'm workin' at da AMC Empire! I'm makin' popcorn! And ain't gonna give you no free tickets cuz you done gave me a B minus on my paper! When people thought she was kidding about her excitement, she literally thought they were crazy. Denise thought she got the absolute most fantastic job in the entire world and truly expected everyone to be jealous of her.

I want to be Denise today. Right now. All I want to do is make popcorn at the AMC Empire movie theatre on 42nd street and be happy about doing so. I wish to be simple and uncomplicated and happy and happy and happy.

The word listen contains the same letters as the word silent.

Things do not change. We change. ~Henry David Thoreau

A journey of a thousand miles begins with a broken fan belt and a leaky tire.

To give pleasure to a single heart by a single act is better than a thousand heads bowing in prayer. -Gandhi

The test of courage comes when we are in the minority.

There is great value in disaster. All your mistakes are burned up. Thank God we can start anew. ~Thomas Edison

The worst prison would be a closed heart.

The category of sound you're making is "Noise the world could use less of."
-Avi Wisnia

After two years of denial, I finally accept that I do harbor feelings for him. I know that I'll end up hurt, but what more can I do? I have already fallen, and for a very long time, it took me a while to notice that.

The problem with reality is the lack of background music.

Sooner or later, a man who wears two faces forgets which one is real.

See, I have engraved you on the psalms of my hands

The disease of self runs through my blood; it's a cancer fatal to my soul. Every attempt on my behalf has failed to bring this sickness under control.

Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for a while and leave footprints on our heart. And we are never, ever the same.

She is not perfect. You are not perfect. The question is whether or not you are perfect for each other.

Sleep tight. And when your dreams are almost over and you are about to wake up, I'll be waiting for you there in that moment...for all eternity.

There are a lot of things easier than finding a good man, like nailing Jello to a tree for instance.

Eyes shout what lips fear to say.

Sometimes... something can stare you straight in the face and no matter how hard you look for it, you won't see it. Not because it's not there but because you refuse to believe that what your looking at is actually possible.

Sometimes I wish we had never met because then I could go to sleep at night not knowing there was someone like you out there.

She believed in dreams, but she also believed in doing something about them. When Prince Charming didn't come along she went over to the palace and got him. ~Walt Disney about Cinderella

Sometimes you gotta say the things that don't come easy. They say just follow your heart, yeah, but what if it lies?

They say a person needs just 3 things to be truly happy in this world: something to do, someone to love, and something to hope for.

There is a ragamuffin loose on the streets of gold. He is barefoot, he is laughing, and he is home.

Two fellows are talking religion. One says to the other, "Sometimes I'd like to ask God why he allows poverty, famine and injustice when he could do something about it. "What's stopping you?" asks the second. And the first replies, "I'm afraid God might ask me the same question."

There's only us;
There's only this;
Forget regret;
Or life is your to miss;
No other road;
No other way;
No day but today.

The world really isn't so much worse than it ever was. It's just that the news coverage is so much better.
